CRANFORD, NJ: On December 8, 2020, a male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Cranford, NJ. The man was struck at around 6:30 a.m. He was crossing Springfield Avenue. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 51-year-old man who was the driver of the vehicle stopped after the accident and is cooperating with police. He has not been charged.
