On May 25, 2019, an Old Bridge man was driving his Mercedes S550 on Texas Road when he crossed over the double yellow lines and crashed head on into 19-year-old girl from Old Bridge, killing her and seriously injuring her passenger.
The operator of the Mercedes admitted that he was driving under the influence at the time of the fatal crash.
Superior Court Judge Diane Pincus ordered the drunk driver to serve 15 years in State Prison and his driver’s license be revoked for 30 years. The family of the killed motorist has wrongful death and survivorship claims against the drunk driver.
