Car Accident? Your Insurance Does Not Always Go up.

One of the most predominant concerns many people have when they are involved in a car accident is, will my insurance rates or premiums go up? The short answer to that is no, not if  the accident was not your fault.

Further, insurance companies will decide whether to increase or not regardless of medical treatment or bringing a lawsuit.

Most accidents will not make your rates go up. For example

  • Your car was struck in the rear by another vehicle.
  • Your car was struck in a hit-and-run accident.
  • The driver of another car was charged of a moving traffic violation associated with the accident, but you were not charged of a moving traffic violation.
